ABOUT

RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK.

The Sawai Madhopur Wildlife Sanctuary was the name given to the reserve by the Indian government when it was first formed. Later, in 1973, it was included in a collection of India’s Project Tiger Reserves.
In 1980, Ranthambore was made a national park. In the near jungles, Sawai Mansingh and Keladevi sanctuaries were founded in 1984. The Sawai Mansingh Sanctuary in the south and the neighbouring Keladevi Sanctuary in the north were added to the Tiger Reserve in 1991, along with other woods. One of the best locations in India to view these majestic carnivores in their native habitat is the Ranthambore National Park, which is well known for its tiger population. Visitors to the reserve can observe tigers quite easily because it is the only one in the area.
